From Marco to Kattalan: Cubes Entertainments Aims Higher with Their Next Big Release

We at Cubes Entertainments are thrilled to share the excitement surrounding our upcoming Malayalam action thriller, Kattalan, directed by the talented debutant Paul George. we are proud to announce that we have cast Antony Varghese, also known as Pepe, in the lead role, showcasing his rugged intensity and natural acting in this highly anticipated project. Following the massive success of Marco, we are raising the bar with Kattalan, aiming to deliver a story that is not only action-packed but also deeply layered with emotional depth and cultural resonance.

We are excited to confirm that we have assembled an exceptional team to bring this vision to life. We’ve partnered with internationally acclaimed stunt director Kecha Khamphakdee, known for his work on major films like Ong-Bak 2, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, Jawan, Baaghi 2, and Ponniyin Selvan: Part 1. His Malayalam cinema debut with Kattalan is something we’re incredibly proud of, and the action sequences he’s choreographing will surely leave audiences in awe. Recently, we shared a video of our team meeting Kecha in person, and the response from cinema enthusiasts has been overwhelmingly positive.

Our crew comprises some of the finest talents in the industry. Noted editor Shameer Muhammed is skillfully shaping the film’s narrative, while cinematographer Renadive captures the raw beauty of Kerala’s landscapes. The audiography is in the capable hands of M. R. Rajakrishnan. We’re also thrilled to introduce music director Ajaneesh Loknath, renowned for his work on the pan-Indian hit Kantara, making his Malayalam debut with us. Having previously brought K.G.F.’s Ravi Basrur to Malayalam audiences through Marco, I’m confident that Ajaneesh’s score will elevate Kattalan to new heights.

The technical crew of “Kattalan” showcases an impressive lineup of talent, including production designer Sunil Das, who ensures that every detail reflects the story’s authenticity; creative producer Dipil Dev; and production controller Deepak Parameswar, all working in harmony to bring the film to life. Sound Designer Kishan crafts an immersive auditory experience, while Costume Designer Dhanya Balakrishnan and Makeup Artist Ronex Xavier ensure that every character is visually captivating. Photographer Amal C. Sadhar captures stunning visuals, and choreographer Sherif adds dynamic movement to the storytelling. The VFX team at 3Doors elevates the film’s visual effects, making “Kattalan” a true cinematic masterpiece.
